The Wild Turkey Day Approaches

Rain, rain...go away...come again some other day! Yea, like in two weeks from now...I mean, wouldn't it be grand to have a bright and sunny Thanksgiving? "Dream on Mc Duff!" (this is what my Mom would say to me when I was wanting something unreal to happen). I mean, after all, it's November!

My Japanese Maple is still hanging in there with a few errant dazzling leaves on her......
My Deck Buddah reminds me that "this too shall pass"..... Peace baby!!.....

So I hunker down, inside....Many things to do and many things to think about doing!

First, of course, comes the Cozy fire!! The Fire Angel...reminds me to count my all the wood that Michael cut up this Fall ;)
The noise of the fire calms me!! Damn I love Fire....and it's possible because it's cool & rainy outside!

I look over at Autumn sleeping on her couch!! She's got the right idea.....this is....after all....the time to rest and rejuvenate....Thank Goodness I have this sweet little being to remind me of that!

So I sit down on the couch and try to convince myself that the pile of blue/green octopus arms is someday going to turn into the Christmas scarf I have chosen to make Kate.....

Round & round she goes..and where she stops...No one Knows....Yep, that's ME ;)

I happen to glance over and low and behold Our Thanksgiving cactus is getting ready to bloom!!
That reminds me that in just 4 short's going to be Thanksgiving!!
How Grand is that!!
I wish for all of you a lovely Turkey day!!....although we will be having our annual Thanksgiving day feast....home made enchiladas, rice and cranberries, deviled eggs...pumpkin pie (for Kate) & pecan pie for us!!...Gobble gobble!! ;)
